System restore is a prominet utility in windows operating system that canrecover files & settings in case of system crash.
its a must to turn on this feature.but at the same time,it usage lots of disk space as well.you can limit the amountof disk space system restore users by excuting
some commands in the command prompt.
just follow these steps:
1-click on start & type cmd in the search box.now type the command"vssadmin list shadowstorage" & hit the enter.you will now be able to view the amount of the disk space
system restore has occupied.for change the amount of the space system restore will use,type the command"vssadmin Resize shadowstorage/For=c:/on=c:/Maxsize=512MB".now hit the enter
here c:isthe drive name whereas 512MB is storage size.
